ScholarDream defines privacy as the right to create information, to decide and to control who should see or use it, to be protected against intrusion, to be anonymous, to be left alone, to control use of personal information by third parties, to correct personal information and to be protected from unwarranted searches or seizures.

What ScholarDream Does

ScholarDream creates information tools for individuals and institutions and puts exclusive control on the user of the tools. Also, ScholarDream collects basic institutional public information such as school profiles for enabling online searches and information discovery purpose. No modification, disclosure or sharing of user generated content is done under normal conditions. On matters of violation of individual and institutional privacy, ScholarDream is open for evaluation and correction of such action.

Under few limited circumstances, ScholarDream may be required to share personal information as described below. We do not rent or sell information for marketing purposes.

  • We may share information with those that provide us with technology services (e.g. cloud hosting and analytics services), but strictly for the purpose of carrying out their work for us.
  • We may be required to share information with law enforcement or other third parties when compelled to do so by court order or other legal process, to comply with statutes or regulations, to enforce our Terms of Use, or if we believe in good faith that the disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users.

How ScholarDream Protects Information

Any information collected through the ScholarDream Service is stored and processed in the United States. If you use our Service outside of the United States, you consent to have your data transferred to the United States.
